OUTLINE OF WHAT TRSF IS
The Rainbow Serpent Foundation is an Australian run NGO that works to provide educational assistance to Indigenous children. We help to give Indigenous children a better education and an easier entry into university. The Indigenous population of Australia face terrible statistics in education. Only 9700 Indigenous students are enrolled in public schools, 36% of people in remote communities have access to a library, 24%
of people in remote communities have a school that goes up only to Year 12. 29% have a school up to year 10. We aim to significantly improve these statistics through a variety of objectives.
We are very important as we are able to work faster and more efficiently then the Australian Government can. We are able to provide educational assistance to Indigenous communities around Australia.

WHAT WE DO
TRSF helps Indigenous children around Australia receive educational assistance such as teachers and resources to help them get the best education they can.
What we do:
-Build schools and educational centers for Indigenous communities around Australia
-Provide teachers to help educate Indigenous children
-Provide educational resources such as textbooks and computers
-Work with Universities to provide scholarships to Indigenous students
-Create educational programs for Indigenous students
The objectives that we work to complete are extremely important to the well-being of Indigenous communities around Australia. If we can help give Indigenous children education that allows them to complete primary school and/or complete their HSC then we are one step closer to creating a more equal society for Australia.

WHY DO WE DO THIS?
Around Australia, Indigenous children are not getting the education that they deserve. Too many are uneducated or do not complete their HSC. This affects their chances of getting jobs and this, in turn, affects their lives dramatically. There is a 10.4% Unemployment rate for Aboriginal adults reaching a Year 12 education level, compared to the 3.6% unemployment rate of non-indigenous people. Why should they not have the ability to go to school and have an education when people like us can? With your help, we can give the Indigenous children a better education and help give them a much better chance in life.

EXPLANATION OF TRSF
TRSF works with/in indigenous communities around Australia to help educate, build learning facilities, provide resources and create educational programs for the Indigenous people. We also work with Universities to provide scholarships and programs for Indigenous students to help them find a good job.
TRSF is a small organisation, run by a staff of trained educational professionals. Together, with the help of some construction managers and builders, we are able to create safe learning environments for Indigenous students.
We receive our funding from the Government, businesses and individuals. Using this funding, we are able to significantly increase Indigenous children's education and help them become more educated, sustainable citizens and help them achieve jobs.

TRSF VIDEO
Here is a video created by us that will hopefully become an advertisement on the television soon. Occasionally, the top of some of the photos gets cut off. This is thanks too the wonderful, high-quality stop motion app. When we took the photos, they turned out near perfect but the app decided to crop them in weird ways.
